John, Paul, and Bryan Monigatti started Rich River Chaff and Hay on their family farm in 2000. Our 2500 acre property has beautiful nutrient rich soils on the banks of the Campaspe River in Northern Victoria.
Water reserves are abundant to grow lucerne and cereal crops, with ground water available in 'dry' conditions. Rich River Chaff and Hay can guarantee 'year round' supply.
We pride ourselves in producing the highest quality hay and chaff and strive to continually improve and expand our business. With growth and innovation in mind, we have attempted Teff hay this season with pleasing results. Low sugar chaff (Teff) is our 'New' product on the market, targeting horses prone to laminitis.
